Northern Red Oak (Quercus rubra)
Northern red oak is likely to be the most popular species oak on the planet, and for good reason. It has an incredibly large natural range, and proves to thrive outside of that range in landscapes across the globe. Northern red’s also produce high quality lumber, and plenty of good sized acorns to boot.
Plant this winner with beautiful fall color in well drained bottoms, coves, and the lower portion of ridges to enhance your property’s overall value.

Love the product but disappointed they did not arrive when scheduled. I took a day off work thinking they would be there and had to take another day off when they actually came in.
We included a tree to the gift bags for everyone who attended our field day. I ordered 100 trees weeks in advance. I was concerned that they might sell out before our event. They shipped and arrived just as we had requested. We look forward to using Nativ Nurseries for our next event.
I ordered 15 trees and all came in great condition and ready to plant. Each tree was 14-18" tall and looked very healthy.
Bought 4 red oak and two pin oaks; only one of the red oaks had leaves when they arrived. Since planting two days ago, all have buds that are just opening, which is exactly what my existing trees are doing. Timing was good! All appear healthy.
The trees we received are growing very nice and are going to be beautiful as they mature.
